"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
It should be interesting to see how Penno go without Laine Spencer for the remainder of the season.
The behind the play, unprovoked and vicous punch to the face that we saw on Fox Footy last night should see him out for at least 4 - 6 weeks if not the remainder of the season. From all reports the huge crowd, which included many young kids, were shocked by the incident. Word on the street is that even the Pennant Hills supporters who witnessed the blow are ashamed of him.
Gambler, one quote I dont agree with is the huge crowd. A bunch of drunk old ex-players does not make fo a huge crowd- although their stomachs is another thing.
Currently sydney afl has no following which is a great shame and has been the way for past 5-6 years.
The competition has become almost a playground for kids as there are virtually no players over 25 in the competition playing 1st grade.

I haven't been online for a few days. Hardly anything surprises me in Sydney footy these days, but I'm shocked that games are being moved and cancelled. It hasn't been that wet - some of these local councils are a disgrace.
In case anyone's missed them, the revised senior fixtures are:
Ern Holmes Oval - North Shore v Wests (11:30am)
Ern Holmes Oval - Pennant Hills v Wollongong (2pm)
Drummoyne Oval - Balmain v UNSW-ES (2pm)
Monarch Oval - Campbelltown v St George (2pm)

My tips are:
UNSW-ES
Wests
North Shore
St George
Did you want Norths or Wests to win??? You cannot have both!!
