Did anyone watch the 2 matches? What were your thoughts? Were the right players picked? How did the young guns go against the Swans ressies? Any shining lights?

Would it be a good exercise for the Sydney AFL rep team to play the Swans reserves? Or perhaps given the result, Canberra AFL rep side v Sydney ressies?

Is there going to be a NSW team picked from this match & are they going to play anyone?

Hey there. I don't know the names of the players, but the kid who played number 17 in the Syd Development Team (first game) was good, and the the kid who played number 7 for the Swans also had good pace and read the game well (we called him Willo 3, as he was wearing Josh Willoughby's jersey).

They were the two stand outs for me, although admittedly I couldn't see what was happening in the midfield very well.

The half Swans/half Sydney Development Team resulted in a far more even contest than I've seen in a pre-match game for ages!
