Oscar, thank you for your informative response.

Has the league or any individual club approached your club with the idea of learning from your experiences? I mean, why cannnot we form a blue print where all clubs pool their intellectual resources and all SFL clubs give and receive the most benefit from their affiliation.

The League, via varying administrators over the years, have been reasonably aware of all our dealings and plans and have been fully supportive.

Essentially however, like in any commercial world, it is up to us to make our business successful.

There have been questions asked by other Sydney Clubs from time to time, but I can't recall any official approach.

There was also no answer on William Wallace's question regarding the return of PH captain Mick Talbot??????

Maybe Ash should change his profile to Pinocchio!!!

            Funny Fatman.

Anyway re Talbot, doing everything to get backon track but would be stupid to let coaches on this forum become aware of his playing status this year.

            Running the water well though.

As to who am I, who are you all???

By some of the ordinary comments probably best you stay anonymous- although due to this point who cares who you are.

Peanut isnt questioning who you are. I think he is merely questioning your so called allegiance to Penno. You seem to credit yourself as supporter of Penno....prove it by answering his question. What were some of that acts at the Penno Revue?

Seems like a question to me!

                    Why is it important?

It seems to me Ash is more interested in footy than watching footballers make fools of themselves ata revue.

                    More power to him.

Humphrey, maybe these gents would like to relive boys and men dancing and making fools of themselves- each to their own!

I prefer to know what females perform similar acts.

I have no problem with Balmain becoming the Dockers for one . Not only does it make the club a more prefessional club but obviously has a monetary influence on the club .

Personally I feel East Coast Eagles are the most professional club in the league followed by North Shore , UNSW , St George Campbelltown , Pennant Hills , Balmain , Wollongong , and Wests .

If all the clubs can get up to a standard of East Coast then perhaps this league could gain tv coverage and move forward like the VFL , SANFL , WA , AFL Qld , etc

                          my two cents :

+++++ has to be done for the money side of things (if any). the symbolisation is good as balmain has the wharfie history. new jerseys/gear is a great plus as well

------- am sad to say goodbye to the tiger emblem, colours, and especially song 'tigerland' (best in the comp). most importantly i will be very dissapointed if in 2-5 years its gone pear shaped and we're back at square one, but now with some dumb colours.

hopefully the change will bring about some improvement in the results for 1sts next year.
