    Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs Trivia Night

As you all know, Troy Luff has been a supporter of RWO for many years - the Luffmeister is hosting a trivia night for the UNSW / ES Bulldogs on Sat 2nd Sept, and asked if we could give it a bit of a plug... Well, HERE IT IS!

Click here to download a flyer with full details if you are interested. Any enquiries can be directed to Luffy at [email protected]

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

    "The Luffmeister"....???!!!???

Also for all of you RWO faithful, the great man himself, the one and only Peter Kefalas will be making a guest appearance at the Trivia Night. He will be available to sign autographs and meet girlfriends/wives/daughters etc...

Maybe Ash can go along and congratulate Kef on his great win over Penno on the weekend??

        Is that an invite?

Only if i was on mr kefalas' table.

I would be a significant addition to what would ensure a successful table.

Can you guys see any side beating ECE?

        If so, who and why?

It would take all the fun out the night if you came. Having been an avid follower of all your posts, you are obviously never wrong so we'd all be playing for 2nd place!

In answer to your other question, I can't see anyone knocking them off this year. They are a very disciplined unit and Gus is practically unstoppable at the moment.

It may be argued that they have a recent history of choking, but their active reruitment (and that by no means is a criticism) means that the majority of their players have not been around to experience that so I think that it is a moot point.

I personally think that at anything can happen in September.

Finals affect different teams in different ways. Currently you'd be a brave man to tip against ECE, but that said, a passionate and fired up Penno, Wests, or St George could knock 'em off!

ECE definitely has the strongest playing list in the comp in terms of depth, so they'd be the definite favourites.

            Yours sincerely,

            - Captain obvious

BTW, Hey Ash were you at the Penno V UNSWES game??

            What were your thoughts??
