Jason Allie is one of the most talented and best footballers in sydney. He makes the game look very easy and he has very good skills. He would no doubt be a walk up start at any sydney club but he has been loyal to South West. I dont think Kanga or Kev could get him away from SWS. He is also nearing the end of his footballing days, im guessing he would be 33-34.

I think you're flattering him in the age department, I would say the biggest hurdle will be convincing him to go 'round again, but hopefully for the club he will.
I hear not what you say, for the thunder of who you are.

When Jase Allie was with us he was easily one of the most popular guys at the club and it was great to see him poll so well. We have asked him a few times to return to Olds but he is very happy at SWS.

As for his age, he is the wrong side of 35.

Who is to say these two will be coaching at these clubs next year???

Also fellas, pleassseee. Anyone who can do a droppunt can win the 1st DIvision, reserves or any grade below assocaition B&F.

I think a 36, a 41, a 37 and a 17 year old won the ressies, oh forgot to mention how old was the winner in Premier division???

Its great to see these older gents still playing and leading the way. Doesnt say much for the rest of the younger guys inthis league!!!!!!!

Is he a local junior or a new arrival? I would imagine KangaCoach or Coach Kev with his EddieDollars could be quite interested.

You cant but help show your ignorance can you Ash. If you have ever seen Jason play football then you wouldnt make such stupid comments. He would be a welcome player to any Premier Div senior side regardless of his age at present. As Shearer has pointed out Jason isnt just a class footballer but a class person and yes we are lucky to have him at our club.

Tara I reckon Ash is on the right track with this one.

Forget who the individuals are it is a sad indightment on Sydney footy that so many pensioners won the medals.

However it might say more about the morons giving the votes than the old blokes getting them.

Humph im inclined to agree with you but not with the person in discussion here. Jay is one of those few blokes who continue to defy their age. That being said how many captains win the awards or poll well simply becuase they shake the umps hand at the start of the game? A lot I would imagine. Also its not very nice of you to insult all those morons out there by grouping them with umpires

Thats probably an indication that the kids these days aren't prepared to put their body on the line, whereas a seasoned veteran will do it day-in day-out.I know i'd prefer an older head than a fresh young player(and thats not reflective of the Division i represent, this year or next)as you know you'll get your coin worth, coz he'll get his hands dirty.Kids wear gloves.
