    Chris Hughes - Bucks Day

    G?day Sports Fans

Need help tracking down mates of a guy that has been around Sydney footy for the past decade.

It is an absolute honour for me to be made a groomsman at the wedding in 2 weeks time of Chris Hughes, aka Hughesie ? but it has been an absolute nightmare to try & track down the past teammates of the Big Gorilla.

Going through his footy resume & you will see that he has more clubs than Tiger Woods ? he has played at Easts, Wests, Swans u19s & Manly. And he has coached at quite a few teams as well ? North Shore, Manly, Greater Western Power, NSW Ladies, as well as quite a few junior rep sides and assistant earlier this year at Balmain. I think he has played a fair bit of footy with the Defence Forces (via Army days) and also the Emergency Services (Firies) over the years.

As you can see there is a lot of area to try & cover. He is a likeable lad so I am sure that he has a lot of friends from all these different clubs & it would be appreciated if you could spread the word across your club network.

We are having his bucks day this Saturday evening at the Crows Nest Hotel but we are having pre-buck drinks at the Sydney AFL grand finals at Henson Park, Marrickville from 1pm. Most of ye were probably considering going to the GF anyway, so hopefully this is another incentive to be there.

I would love to see you there but most importantly Chris would love to see you there as well ? if merely for one beer.

    Yours in football

I went to a wedding once where the best man told a story about the time the groom drowned some kittens. Be very careful about your selection of material.
