    Congrats to Cardiff & Ryno

Well done to Mick Ryan for kicking his 100th in Cardiffs winning Grand Final on saturday.

A few of the St George boys went up for the weekend to cheer him on and enjoyed running onto the waterlogged ground when he kicked the ton.

I dare say Ryno is still out and about and will be for a few more days yet.

Yep great win to Cardiff especially taking into account the conditions!

They never stopped, even when they had it in the bag at quarter time.

Cheers guys, it was a very good win.

When i get some photo's i will post them - as was said already the ground was a shocker, with shin deep water in some places!

Ryno kicked a couple of perlers in the conditions to jag his 100th. The St George boys who came up seemed to be having a ball when I talked to them.

And yes you are right. Last time I spoke to the boys they were still out and about (I was just checking to see if they still had the trophy!!)

Cheers to Missy, Swannieserin, North Shore Angel and co who came up for the game and enjoyed the afte match at the shaft. Would have been very easy not to make the trip given the conditions!

A story will be posted on our website in due course. (i.e. when I get around to it!)

Cardiff's recent grand final record would be the envy of footballers across Australia. Congrats to them all. Can anyone think of a record which is better?(Help us out Northern. 10GF appearances and how many flags??)

What a great day and night (apart from the concussion! Thanks Benny!)!!

I loved watching the boys play in the wet, and even more the City boys get slaughtered all over the place.

Congrats Mick on what you've done for the club in the last few years. I know I said it at the pub on Sat night, but I'll say it again, the mighty Hawkies will really miss your leadership next year! Have a blast at pres next weekend. Sorry I wont be there.

I take it you have used a fancy computer to digitally add the water onto the field. I cannot believe a game went ahead with water like that!!!!

                      "in field"?

I think you meant "in pond".
                      Or "in lake".
                      Or "in moat".
Or some other body of water.
                      Craziness conditions.
