I resent that......sorry that should read "resemble". My elbows are twitching at the prospect of "seagulling" around packs in 07!!

Nothing like swollen ears to make forward line marking difficult.

For what its worth, this is my first post. so hi to everyone, i've more than enjoyed all the banter that carries on in here!

In regards to best players at clubs - the mighty Parramatta Goannas have many.

As Rafters included Peter "Bear" Rickett, also not many can go past the inspirational Shaun Edmunds (only Parra player to receive two 1st grade premierships! [Rafters, please confirm!]), he is the only team mate i've come across to tackle not only me (when I played in my first ever 1ST grade SFL game) but my opponent in a 3-man tackle?!?!? You're a legend Eddo!!!

Paddy Gallagher (and his entire family that have not only supported Parra in the seniors but Greystanes in the juniors and Judy for annoying every opponent that was on her son!) You can't go by (is it????) 5 B&F'S????

Damien Pearce as the most gifted I've ever played with, and Trusty as the most I respect. Over 400 games for the 1 club MUST deserve MASSIVE PRAISE!!!

And finally, the Kassems! Medair, is the biggest freak I've ever come across (he wins players, player and only plays 7 games for the year in a team that comes 3rd in their competition?!?!?!?!?!?). He is easily in the top 5 for SFL footy players going around, and for all the teams that line up against Wests next year - good luck! He's not only a champion but an athlete to boot and a CHAMPION off the ground.

Arch, as the most publicised player ever, unfortunately Ronny gave all that info to Norths in 1991, the pri(ks!! For what its worth Arch, everyone still HATES the Bears or the bombers whatever they lower themselves too. And they definitely lowered themselves after that '91 GF performance, AND that will NEVER be forgotten you weak pretenders!!!!!!

Paddy Gallagher (and his entire family that have not only supported Parra in the seniors but Greystanes in the juniors and Judy for annoying the FU(K out of every opponent that was on her son!) You can't go by (is it????) 5 B&F'S????

And Salem - you are the gudaffi that no one has ever stopped! You are a legend!!!!!!

Rafters, Parra ex-pats or opponents please give feed back. Would love to hear comments or suggestions on my opinions that I gave or additional comments that I have missed!!!

PS - Salem's ton was alot more hard earned than Keg's. That's my opioin as Keg was just a fat over-achieving slob that didn't give a stuff about Parra's existence compared to Salem's all-round JOY for PARRA!!!
You have missed the Goannas best player in the last 20 years.

                Neil Brunton.

Pretty much the only player ever over to be picked up by an AFL club out of the SFL.

Oooppps. You are very right. He was only around for a year, maybe two, when I started supporting Parra from the early 90's.

Pekay, one for you - Andrew Spring?? He was one of the hardest nuts i've come across!

Andrew Spring deserves a mention but as far as best players at the club, he's a bit behind quite a few. I didnt catch your post before it was edited, are you saying Sal kicked a ton of goals??What year was that?I believe you just dont remember.

Another bloke who was great in only a short period at our club was Cuz. Kicked over 100 in a season including a game at full back where he held Hogarth goalless and still managed to sneak forward and kick one himself.

We even dropped him for discipline reasons to ressies against Cronulla but after he kicked twelve to half time he was quickly brought off and back in seniors

He is too! Sorry for the misinformed quote. It was a bit hard to concentrate properly when there were 3 other larrikins all liquored running a muck on the computer!

Pekay, I'll have to go through my record books. I'm sure the big fella amassed the ton in either 2000 or 2001? I remember him kicking 16 goals 8 (or something disgraceful like that) in 2001 against UNSW-ES. He needed 1 more goal to break the club record and could have done so if he kicked truley from 15m out directly in front in the last quarter.
