New Standard
That is great to see and sets a higher standard for all clubs to achieve.
Way of the near future to see all clubs have fully licensed clubs and administration.
Can only be good for the local game and explains why players travel such distances to play for ECE.
Is there a salary cap in this league? -
The best thing for this competition might be if ECE win 3 comps in a row. Then all of the other clubs with excuses for all of their lack of effort off the field might be inspired to have a go. I think the general consenus among clubs is that "its all too hard", "raising sponsorship is too hard", " we are doing our best and thats all anyone can do". Well if ECE can afford a GM for 90K why cannot everyone. It may mean a few heads will have to roll at clubs to get the right people in charge. Incidently I would think this applies to almost every club in SydneyComment

Fantastic appointment tho, East Coast has alot of negative comments directed at them, but you cant deny they're light years ahead of any club in Sydney in terms of professionalism, its only a matter of time before they win a senior flag,to go with their 2nds and 3rds flags.good luck to them i sayComment

Just curious Spoiler....Q1 - Have you had a chance to run your eye over this licensing agreement? What aspects don't you (and EVERY other club) agree with?
Q2 - "Don't tell me you've appointed this man's former associate to GM?????" Who might you be talking about? I read the same press release you did and I didn't read of any other appointments?
Please enlighten us with your inside knowledge..Comment

You really have been up early haven't you Gambler??Not much to do up in them their hills? I suggest all your questions should be directed to Oscar. As the licensing agreement has now "gorne" due to publicly "outing it" some time ago, (a popular thing at present)... to quote a great man, "don't you, don't you worry about that!"Originally posted by Gambler
