There's a First Division club nearby, Holroyd-Parramatta Goannas. They play their home games at Gipps Rd Oval in Greystanes, and I think they train there as well.
There's a few other people on this board who may have some more information for you if you're interested, and you should (hopefully) be able to get a link from the Sydney AFL website - otherwise I'll look it up when I'm back in Sydney.
If you are looking to play at the highest level in Sydney try your luck with Balmain Dockers. Think thats the closest to you and you will be looked after
Otherwise as suggested by Norris.
Originally posted by TheMase I am moving to Parramatta, or at least nearby. I am fairly sure there is a footy club in Parramatta. Can anybody give me any details?

Thanks mate. I probably need to do a fair bit of work before I can play the highest level in Sydney, been playing out in Bathurst for a fair while and its not a high standard of football. Need to do a lot of fitness work before I am close. I have contacted Troy and it looks like I will be able to start training when I move down in January! Awesome stuff!
Miss a year because of shoulder surgery last year, so I want to ease myself back into it all.
I am confused as to what relevance myself having a girlfriend has to this though, haha! (well I don't have a girlfriend, does that make a difference?).

Yeah you wont have to worry about someone mowing your grass.
I'm not sure how one incident (that you would have only heard from one side of events) justifies your comment that an entire football club are out to get team mates partners?!?!

Thats great to hear rooster. He does have the ability to worry a lot of teams when his mind is on the job. Can be a good bloke at times too. Do you know how he is going up there?
