    Club Websites

    Hi all

    I was reading an article on the aflnswact website about a crackdown on club websites re racial and religious verification.

    I have never seen a problem on any websites and am wondering if any of you know what brought this on or if it is just a precautionary thing for the clubs.

      I'm not aware of any such content on any club's website. Hopefully it's just a precaution/reminder to the clubs.

          The mail i got was that Manly Warringai had racial jokes on their website and have been exposed by fridays edition of ''the manly daily''. I beleive they have lost players and sponsors due to the mishap.Dont know much more than that....

              If you're talking about the jokes section of the Manly website, anything that is written on a page like that needs to be taken tongue in cheek.
              They're just jokes.

              Sounds like some thin skins if they can't.



              And I'm not defending anyone or taking sides with anyone here either. Just my opinion.
              People can make jokes about my appearance or lack of ability - I won't take offence, in fact I'll probably produce a better one.

                  Full apology and retraction appears on Manly website now,not much you can say these days without a fine tooth comb being run over the top.as for BMR's comment, true,but you didnt seem happy with me taking ur poker chips no friday? Hahahahaha sorry champ
