Rooboy why dont you just @@@@ off. You are happy to insinuate against all and sundry on this site and belittle wherever you can yet you hide behind an ambiguos username without having the balls to announce yourself like almost all on this site.

Yes mods maybe I have been out of line but so have you for not pulling this wa nker into line.

Get a @@@@ing life. Most who post here regardless of the alliegence have the best intentions towards the growth of the game in Sydney at heart.

How about rather than sniper and making snide remarks you contribute something tangible to the general banter.

Again as I have stated we all are united in seeing our game prosper in NSW and the Sydney Metro region. How about jump on board and contribute something constuctive.

            Give it a wash...

Rooboy is a breath of fresh air on this website and instead of east coast copping a flogging from Humphry, Ash and the like it has turned onto a couple of other topics and the old folk are a bit worried that they dont have control???

SFL needs a lot more work than just constructive criticism in this website.

Most footy leagues dont poach from their own comp, they play footy in the rain and dont cancel becasue its wet (winter competition isnt it???), the VFL rep side pciks the best players in the comp - not just young blokes who might be ok, they play on grounds that arent cow paddocks and most clubs strive to be the most professional, not knock the ones that are - its called respect.

The problem with Sydney Footy is that their are too many people from Sydney running it!!!

              Go Eagles,

I am actually an admirer of the eagles operations had you read previous post I was the first to congratulate them on the posting of the operations job and their successful recruitment for 2006 only falling short due to poor weather.

As those hear who read my posts they are merely hypothesis or rhetorical questions that hit a nerve.

I agree with you the best rep sides are not picked. Not the players fault as the poor selection starts with the actual selection of selectors and coach.

It would be poor play if contact lists were obtained to contact players from other clubs - thats a given.

The council closing grounds is a joke not just for games but training as well. However, this is out of the hands of administration so cannot be blamed.

I dont think it matters where you come from, but nuff nuffs do get into such positions where the scholary credentials far outweigh their commonsense and knowledge of the game. This occurs in all walks of life. However, it is easy to criticise and maybe time for people like yourself and even myself to get into such positions of influence. Food for thought instead of wasting time on this fruitless forum???

Is this one of the most sensible posts I have read on RWO?

go eagles, what do you beleive is the best way to find sydneys best rep side? Do you feel that players are missing out from your club alone or all over the league?...from last years side, who do you think should or should not be in it?

Norris, can we please bring this thread back to what it was meant for and separate all the sniping into something separate?
I know most clubs haven't used it as such, but this thread was planned for each club to reveal who all their coaches are for this season.

                      Probably all over the league
We didnt have a ruckman - Pesch is the best in the comp so he would have been handy. No offence Thatcher but he couldnt kick

Others players that would have been handy
                      Josh Ryder (Eastcoast)
                      Gus Seebeck (Eastcoast)
Leigh Lavery was stiff to miss out
Couple of the kids from campbelltown werent quite up to it (No offence)
                      Tom Hall (Nth Shore)
                      Kristian Pearson (EC)

Off the top of my head that is a few that would have been handy considering they were a tall side and we were small.

A few of the talls we had were too young and inexperienced against the quality of the ACT.

Just for the record mate I believe that its Tom Hill who plays for North Shore not Tom Hall. But then again your the bloke with all the knowledge after all right?

Go eagles i understand ur eagles man...but we couldnt field the whole eagles side..... on saying that i think big Gus should have been there for sure...his presence makes a big difference. The two best kids from campbelltown were relegated to play in the match prior where 1 this being matt tonizzo racked up the possessions.....but didnt recieve match credit for it. and to say the ctown boys were outta there depth in the big game.....is a bit far fetched...i watched the game and well ACT were on top all over the park......

Tom Hill was injured when the rep game last year was on, so he couldn't have played. I think a couple of the other players named might have been as well.

I think big gus is obviously good enough to be in the side but was away until one week before the game, therefore missing out to be fair to those who trained.
