Im sure the hierarchy there are soundly looking after their finances but surely the money would be better spent on junior development which would lead to less tuition and coaching when the player ultimately joins the senior group. Unless of course Supercoach is funding the project from his win at the courts, i would say that its a waste of money.

It looks good and professional to have these things but unless you are working on your grass roots and increasing their knowledge at a younger age (which doesnt really happen in Sydney) then it is total waste of time and resource.

But good luck to them - its probably one less player they could poach with the costs involved
I like this post, correct you are at the top and good luck to them at the end. Your comments are going to make me look like a genius since according to you only a professional football club with at least 2 full time people are needed to get any benefit....I am not even sure why you would criticise, what difference does it make to you, even if you did know what we were doing?

Is it jealousy as more than a few have suggested or just the usual negativity associated with any attempt by the AFL or clubs to improve Sydney Football?

You know what they say! If you do the same things you get the same results!

But correct you are, everyone is entitle to their own opinion and good luck to you too, we also think it is worth a player or two!

KC - I think what you are doing is good for the game Sydney. Any player feedback is good feedback and can only improve your playing group. Much like ECE who everyone strives that little harder to beat due to their off field and on field operations you will also raise the bar in Sydney. Well done.

          The Rooster,

I was simply trying to find out if you were getting any benefit out of the GPS downloads. You weren't here over the summer. I believe you were playing in Darwin when KC rated you in the top 5 or 6 players in the league. All reports were that you must have been an up and coming gun player with so many people stroking your EGO. You can obviously play, but you don't seem to cope with what you percieve as a negative comment. I find your use of the word begining with M disrespectful to those out there that do have a disability. Unless you can construct an intelligent reply without being disrespctful to a group of people that don't deserve it then stay off the keyboard. The derogatory terminology that you have used to offend two members of this message board is simply juvenile.

i have taken your comments on board and disregarded them completly..... what i have found is that i am just as fit as some of our younger players even after playing 2 seasons in a row with the third as you well know started last week.... i think kc only mentioned top 5 or 6 as myself and fleming came equal 5 last year....... all facts none of roo boys fiction anywhere to be seen.

I am not into the slanging matches that partake on this site but I think YoungKanga (C'Town fringe player) is lucky to be able to post on the same sight as this bloke. It is not up to me to uncover who this man is (that is up to him) but I will say he is the real deal.
Bryan, you hit the nail on the head yourself. Why is GoEagles bagging out another club and getting involved in a slanging match. GoEagles should be and will be judged on this site on the integrity of the comments he makes and not on his footballing history. Generally those who have succeeded at our game at the highest level would not be interested in petty squabble. GoEagles comments did not come across as brimming with facts and knowledge but purely inflammatory. IMO GoEagles posts should not be justified purely on the basis that he is an ex-afl player. Though it is great to hear that this forum includes people with a quality background in football and not just the bagging trash which has forced people at high places in each club (like Oscar) to appear so infrequently.
