    Having problems counting to 18....

    Tara,
Did this occur not only once but TWICE?!?!? in your game against Manly?? From the results page on sydneyafl.com it suggests that SWS had their score reset in the 2nd quarter AND not to be outdone, Manly having their scores reset in the 3rd?!?!
Last year was the first time i heard of a team being sent back to zero when St.George (I think) played Nth Shore.
If this was the case in your game, this has occured at least 3 times this year.... Are playing coaches a good idea??

Are you saying i should retire Sasha?its not so much an issue of a playing coach, its more player management.I'm lucky enough to have 2 assistants running the bench, but even so its still pretty easy to turn around every few minutes and count four head of cattle!I send the boys off for a run wen they're on the bench, then some handball amongst themselves. The case with Penriff was unfortunate, but just the slightest lapse in concentration on the boundary can cost you.twice in a game must be a 1st in Footy tho

No definately not. I havent seen the scores on SydAFL but it was Manly's responsibility this week and I would say that they made an error. I did play about 20 minutes last week but that is the only time this year and will be the last. Only due to the number of injuries (unfortunately ever increasing).

Just had a look at it and whilst I dont have the team sheets with me it appears that they have entered the scores for the quarters in the first three not the quarter time scores.

That's certainly what it looks like to me. The scores are what each team got in each quarter rather than a cumulative.
Otherwise it would be an amazing occurence, not only for a double reset, but for Manly to kick 7.6 to 7.3 in the final quarter. Now that would be watchable.

That sounds very unfortunate. However......maybe if your players resisted the urge to literally brake their arms off opponents heads the injury list might stop growing. Just a thought.

How is the big fella doing? Is he back?

Even better than the real thing!

Not yet. Should be off late this week and he'll be back for the Bulldogs. Thankfully we dont play again this year.

You retire Pekay? No never. Your 2 on the bench must be great assisants!!!!

You need to tell or show them that they only count 1 head not 2!

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?
It was Penrith who made the error against the Jets. Not the other way round.

Who are you kidding Pekay, steel his thongs you'd be chewing his footy boots on the back step more likely, then what would he do.
