I wouldn't say I know, but I'll stick with the Top 10, even though it rules most coaches out of being selected by me.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

      Phelan Medal

The Phelan Medal judging by The Spoilers tips could lead us to believe it is an acronym:

      Precious
      Heartless
      Egotystical
      Loose
      Aging
      Nobs

Rooboy, an acronym is a word made up from the first letter of individual words
      Give it a wash!

Very harsh. Luffy is anything but egotistical. Considering what he has achieved on the footy field, he is one of the most down to earth blokes you could meet.

While I'm at it, although I love giving Parks/Rooster a hard time, he always responds in good humour, so is hardly precious.

Looks like these are the same parametres that are used in picking the Sydney Rep side ?
Pumped by 20 goals I'd suggest

Bryan Strauchan sounds a little jealous.

League medalists arent robots, and do standout, thus they come under the scrutiny of blokes like BS... (wow, is BS initials a coincedence BTW?)

Anyway, I agree totally with Monty for a change, normally he is just a cynical prck.

He is one of the most down to earth blokes you will ever meet considering what he has acheived in the game. Although admittedly not the sharpest tool in the shed at times, but hey neither are most of us! (otherwise i'd think we'd all have better things to do than hang around football forums)

His playing style is certainly not the most accountable, but how many 37 yr olds do you know who have played 155 games of AFL footy, while in addition playing another 100+ 1st grade games in a decent size metropolitan competition and can boast 2 league medals?

            Lay_Off_Luff

Rooster congrats if the stats are correct also! The rep team will miss you this week.

              Sorry boys,

My post was with tongue firmly in cheek. I didn't mean to upset the Luff Army. I hope he does as well this week in the rep game as well as he did last year. I do agree he has been a loyal servant to the SAFL. I am very suprised by the anger you expressed Bee Cavery after your 6 goal haul, is the biscuit tin empty?

apologies BS, it's just as a part of Luffy's contract with UNSW he is the one that feeds Bee Cavery his biscuits, donuts and flange. Hence Bee Cavery and Luff have developed a 'bond' so to speak.

Basically they are as dumb as each other, understand each other's grunts and swap eminem CD's.

Cut the soft stuff IHK, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW THE HEN gets credit for being a p**f & the great Flange eating freak isn't playing the in sydney team.

BS, Troy (Luff that is) is a wonderful servent to SAFL the longer he hangs around, the worst all players in SAFL look? think about it.

Also BS what about giving KC some credit he turns 60 this year what a great effort that is. Look what he is doing for the SAFL.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Dugmore is up there with the leaders - he's kicking plenty of goals every week. Mark Livy is probably well in contention, and Luffy always polls well.
For a roughie dark-horse, Mark Egan from Wests may well have accumulated a fair few votes as well. I saw a cracker of a match at Wagener on Sunday, and he was BOG in that game - and he's been named among Wests' best most weeks.

Is Mark Irving going as well as the Top 10 says he is, or are you pumping his tyres up Kanga?

I don't need to pump his tyres up mate...he has been our most consistent player by a mile... He has been included in the development side for Sat after being initially over looked. Playing great footy for a 19yr old who has only played a dozen or so senior games.

In good shape for 60 though. How about we go a few rounds to test your fitness hey RB?

Mark Irving was by far the best for Campbelltown last weekend.
