    Blues defeat Dogs

In an entertaining affair the Blues defeated the dogs by 28 points. It's only the second time I have had the chance to see C/town and I was impressed by the endeavour and run they created throughout the game. Apart from a 3/4 fightback by the dogs the Blues were always in control. Hopefully they can continue this type of footy and squeeze into the semis.

    Well done Blues

I thought they were very impressive today. On the big ground at Monarch they were able to find plenty of space for Lees and Webb to accumulate plenty of possession on the outer wing. I didn't recognise The Rooster for a while with his new hairdo, but he played an impressive game.
Still a long way to go before talking about finals, but they are in the hunt. If Sydney Uni had been able to beat East Coast the Blues would be there now. It's a very congested ladder for the finals, with North Shore dropping from the breakaway back into the peleton and only St George making the pace in front.

Predicting how the top 4 will shape up from here would be virtually impossible. And that's great for the game to have such an even competition.

Did anyone manage to see the Sydney Uni vs ECE game?
Goes to show the depth that ECE have. Having about 10 key players out and still managing to win. Should Sydney Uni go back a division along with Balmain?
Will ECE be able to go all the way this year when they get a full team back on track?
