Long time reader, first time threader. What ever happened to that big young feller Thomson i think?? It's a shame to see a young guy washed up at his age. What other young guys do they have to give the club some depth?

Washed up indeed.last i heard of the big fella was he had emergency surgery on the thumb print square in th middle of is bonce,its still there i'm told.he should head back to his roots,out mountain side.what you think,Monkey Butler?where do you fit into this picture?

He is a little weak for a big guy, may go alright as a player coach although there isn't many good ones going round in any of the competitions at the moment.

First thing he does after getting off the ground from a contest is run his fingers thru his hair. And he drinks lolly water. But in all fairness,one of the most talented players around,and a long n short kicking game thats hard to match. But softness is his strength. Are you reading this Hef?

Another thing, there's plenty of good player-coaches running around, Garns Hally Philp from Sharks Troy Balzan Colesy,Moten, Arch. You'd have to ask Rooboy for anymore.

Think you are referring to Mr Yole who used to head up the umpires. Hardly a glowing reference point though to be fair that would not be an easy gig.....

Hard to see where they go really, my understanding is that they used the Sports Club as a cash cow and the goose is no longer laying any eggs.....

We were in the same boat a few years back and look at the success where having in comparison now. From my experience you need good administration off field to be successful on field in order to re-build a club. It seems from an outsider that there doing a few things right. There U18 side toured WA which must be a great experience for those involved. I would say that's more than most clubs in NSW have been given from there AFL affiliations?
