    Lloyd lover in Sydney AFL

    I find it interesting that one of our 'favourite' AFL umpires, Matthew Lloyd's mate Michael Avon, is running around in the Sydney AFL this week.....

    ROUND 12
    GAMES START, 2pm UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED FIELD BOUNDARY GOAL

      He was very good and seemed to work well with the local umps, it would of been the best umpiring performance we have had this year. Well done gents.

          Good to hear he did his job as an AFL umpire with the goal of returning to the top. I'm sure Danny Diegan and Matt Eddy would have learned a lot as well, which will benefit the Sydney AFL. This should happen more often rather than just putting the spares in the VFL.

              yeah the bloke went very well.....on top of that was good to see a ump bounce the ball properly in the middle....
              would have to be the first time as a ruckman ive had to wait to jump in the centre bounce....ball seemed to just keep goin up..haha

                              I agree. It was great that SOMEONE finally bounced straight. The ruckmen have had NO CHANCE GLASSFORD all year.They have SPOILED the games by mostly bouncing sideways.There needs to be more AFL umpires each week to help them improve.Great to hear the comments of Kanga Coach.He doesn't have to say that ROO Boy. He's not sucking up because no umpires contribute to the site! Orange Maggot from HQ showed that empty lessels don't make the most noise.But we don't hear from him anymore. Spoilt your cover?
