East Coast by 14 points - AURORA SYDNEY AFL MATCH OF THE ROUND - Season on the line stuff here at the Village Green, with the loser basically shot for season 2007. Bulldogs will be tough to beat at home and the Eagles haven't been travelling that well, but it is tough to see how the home team can recover from last week's shellacking in time. Pennant Hills by 154 points - The Dockers put up a strong effort last time against the Demons but just couldn't get the job done in the last quarter. They have only gotten worse since, while Penno is in premiership form. Wollongong by 13 points - This should be a very good game down the road. Sydney Uni has had a better season than their record suggests and a victory here will ensure they avoid the wooden spoon. But at home, the Lions look to have the answers in a tight one. North Shore by 21 points - Another crucial contest, with the Bombers looking to stay in touch with top two and keep the Eagles or Bulldogs at arm's length. The Magpies can't be underestimated, but the Bombers might be a bit too fresh. St George by 8 points - What a huge match this is in the context of the season. There is a lot of bad blood between these two clubs and it wouldn't surprise me to see the Blues get up. The only reason I'm picking the Crows, in fact, is the home ground advantage.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
