    St George Win/Win

Last night St George were given back the 4 points for the win against Wollongong.

Might shut up a few morons on here who used this as an excuse to have a crack at the club when they had no FACTS.

The sinking ship, as you called it key Forward, is still sailing on.

Given that you are 3 wins clear of 3rd I cant see how it makes a scrap of difference.

I guess it must be a good feeling taking points that you probably didn't deserve. You and your mate rooboy are such tosses, how can you look yourselves in the mirror with the history you're creating for the club? St George was once a decent club and your off field and as I discovered again on the weekend on field actions are disgraceful! Good Luck anyway..
Looking dangerous in the forward 50

          Thanks for the update Shearer.

And yes, everyone in the tipping comp will get the point that was taken off their score a couple of weeks ago back. I'll also be uploading this week's article tonight - I held it over last night awaiting the result of the appeal.

You are right key forward, it is a disgrace to behave the way that St.George did on the ground last weekend. Fancy hosting an opposing team at your home ground and then making them look as second rate as they made your mob look on Sunday. That type of behaviour is appaulling and you shouldn't stand for it. Maybe you should try to get the points for Sundays game on the basis that it isn't fair for one side to be so much better than another. I mean seriously, did they even offer you a head start? Not to mention how unco-operative their backline was. I mean it was one of your midfielders who had to kick the goals for you.

Shame on St.George. Shame, shame, shame..........................

                    Cultural Changes for the Worst

I am amazed how the culture of clubs change the dynamics of clubs so quickly.

St George use to be one of the most social, ethical, solid, sound & respected clubs in the Sydney AFL. Now they are the most despised club in the competition.

St George officals may argue that due to their recent competitveness over the last couple of years they can justify their direction. I think long term they will create genuine challenges that the club will have to deal with in future, if they are not dealing with them all ready.

Do I care, not really as all clubs go through ups & downs. What I do care about is their arrogance & disrespect to the overall well being of the competiton that they are currently displaying.

                    Dissapointing

For a club that claims they're the pride of southern Sydney, the question I pose to you is how much pride is there in winning games which you don't deserve the points for?

"The most despised club in the competition"

Well thats a big call, im sure you have done a straw poll amongst all the other cowards who hide behind fake names on here. To be honest do you really think we give a @@@@ about what a dozen or so people on a internet forum have to say.

If arrogance means standing up for ourselves then call us arrogant but im sure every club would do exactly the same, if put in the same position. What arrogance is there towards the welfare of the competition?

As for being competitive in recent years, the club has made the finals all but twice in the last 12 years, so some success hasnt just happened. But real success is premierships and hopefully one is just around the corner.

ECE copped all this @@@@ last year only because they were winning every week, i dare say if we were running 9th noone would mention us.

All i can say is bring on the finals. St George have the right to talk it up.
Look where both teams are on the ladder. Obvious there is great depth for a club that is so called " SINKING ".
Will be hard to beat come finals!

I'll have to agree with Shearer - the most despised club in the competition in any given year is the team that's on top. It was East Coast last year, Wests the year before....

I don't see what the problem is. Sydney AFL investigated and took away the points. St George exercised their right to appeal, the appeal was heard and upheld. They didn't believe the original decision was correct, but went through the proper channels that are there - I don't see anything anti-social, unethical or unsolid about that.
