Cuz could be headed to the Canberra amateurs

It would be hilarious if he was running around for Ainslie. His teammates would be more concerned about getting his autograph than actually playing with him.

    1. A SIX FIGURE SUM? That's a bit pricey for a local team to be paying an "ex"-junkie isn't it? Do many guys who play in the state leagues get six figure salaries? If not, it doesn't seem fair, does it?

    2. Are they serious???

    3. I'm glad that VFL and WAFL are a bit hesitant.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Don't know about the VFL, SANFL or WAFL; but a 6-figure sum would be more than any entire team in the Sydney AFL or ACTAFL. If Ainslie & Eastlake have got that amount of money to throw around, I'd love to know where it's coming from.

Do many guys who play in the state leagues have a brownlow?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

A brownlow medallist played with North Shore in 1990 - think it was Teasdale ... but not good enough for them to win the grand final against the mighty Goannas
See me run a marathon again as a leprechaun?

How many brownlow medalists get demoted to the state leagues? (Not an ex-brownlow medalist who has retired from the big gig and just loves his footy and continues to play at a local level.)

I still think Woewodin is a classy player, though.

I watched him a fair bit in the WAFL over the last couple of years and he really did show something,

                              salary cap issues

Would not think their would be room for Cuz under East Coasts $3,000,000 salary cap, apart from $10 and some small change, it has all been allocated to their new recruits.and the retention of this years non performers.
