Talk is that (now Garnes has parted ways with Campbelltown and gone to East Coast) that Chook will return to Camden as player/coach. Apparently there isn't enough sponsorship $$$ to pay for him there.

Very bad mail there T-Rock. Chook has signed on as coach of the 18s as well as ass coach for 1st grade so he wont be going anywhere. We have also already picked up 2 new sponsors already so there is no problems at all there.

How many times have u said on this site Chook has committed to sign at Campbelltown? It would be an interesting decision to take training full time up until xmas, while our new coach committed to starting in the new yr, all while not being happy with what c'town had to offer. It's fairly obvious that many of the alias users on this site don't have much of a brain. I think it's fair to say that many of these clowns continue to post certain things without really having any idea. I'm not saying I know it all, however i've played footy for some time, most of it at Campbelltown, and the situation the club is in (losing a couple of key players & new coach) does not stop a footy club from continueing. Nor does it stop it from being competitive. If you look at the talent we still have at the club, many of which will be better for a yr under there belt, i'm certainly glad many seem to be righting us off. Good luck to you all this coming yr..I'm really looking forward to it!

It's obvious that you are quite passionate about your beloved C/town, but it's clear to me that the thought of you guys not having a great season in '08 seems to have hit a nerve. Losing a head coach (who hasn't even run a training session this year) and can't be good for anyone, particularly the players morale...

I have no question that Birdie will coach you guys this year, my comments would be in regards to not Garnes coaching you and going to East Coast.
