The clubs are quite close together but are in two diff divisions. Camden is coming back to the sydney comp 2nd div after a few years in the south coast comp. Campbelltown are in premier div, But our ass coach was coaching camden seniors 2 years ago. More just some friendly banter, mainly due to us trying to get there better players over to us i spose.

Just one minor correction Pace, Camden will be in first division this season.Other than that you are right, the clubs are reasonably close. We are quite happy to take any new players off your hands, maybe we will trial them for you before sending them over to Monarch (might accidentally forget the directions though).....Time to play the Game!!!Comment

You've also got Parramatta, Penrith and Nor West Jets (Richmond) who are in the same comp as Camden and are in the western suburbs.Comment

The Camden Cats scored an article in the Macarthur Chronicle today and the Sydney AFL website
It's good to see the game getting some publicity.Comment

Basically what pace is trying to say is, does the bloke want to play in the best possible comp in syd or would he be better suited to playing in a lower div.. Don't know what your prob with pace is mate.. however how about sticking to comments relating to helping the game?
Pekay, it was good to see an article on Camden in the Chronicle, hopefully we can follow it up with some wins on the park. Will be good once we get our new jerseys too. Numbers at training have been pretty good, averaging around 20-22 guys per night since we re-started preseason on Jan 8 with about 35 different players on the books so far.Time to play the Game!!!Comment

Mate, I don't have an issue with Pace to Burn so not sure where you're coming from. When I read a comment from you "helping the game" then I guess I'll do the same.

I watched Camden in a few games in 2006 and the bloke on the left of that photo Mark Goldsbrough can play. I understand Campbelltown tried to lure him but he wasnt interested. Will be hard to stop for opposition teams and will poll well in the snow medal...
Can you give us anymore info on him t-rock?
And who are the better players that you have attracted with the move back to Sydney?Last edited by Roo; 24 January 2008, 10:47 AM.Comment

I can see why you'd think that though it makes logical sense. I'd feel more threatened by an emerging First Div club in my backyard than a lowly 2nd Div club in a neighbouring region toobut hey who's to say logic ever comes into it

Mate I would never comment on Camden as I have had not dealings with them and wish them all the best in first Div and look forward to playing them in first div in the very short term so your abit off with your train of thought regarding my crying comments.
