Dunno where Rooster's said anything about himself anywhere on this thread KF.
He just said the NT umps are crap compared to ours. How does that make him vain in this instance?

Well HE specifically comments on HIMSELF talking to syd umpires last yr, then HE talks about HIMSELF playing footy in Darwin.. He was insinuating I was suggesting Syd umpires were of poor quality or not up to the standard in comparison to other competitions, which as i've said i wasn't.

I actually said you were the one suggesting I was saying Syd umpires were of poor quality and that I wasn't saying that at all.. Did you even go to school? I'm not comparing Syd umpires to any other comp, you are!

And HE can because HE's played in other comps.
How else can HE compare them unless HE talks about the experiences HE has had.
It doesn't mean HE is bignoting HIMSELF.

Anyway, I'm getting back out of the way of this one because there's obviously something deeper there that we don't know about.

Umpires in Crisis Statewide

What is the general feeling amongst all the footy clubs regarding NSW umpires? I see on the sydneyafl website there is a call out for trainers to assist this yr, which personally i feel is great step forward. Do we think the umpiring needs to improve this yr or are we happy with the standard we get given each week? What improvements need to happen and how does nswafl go about it? I know it's lame, however i'm up late working and was thinking about footy...

The Umpires are on a large decline.The young ones have no feel for the game and become super technical to "control" the game, and the older ones don't help recruit any so they can continue as long as possible getting the best appointments and GF's.Recycled coaches, the best umpire aged 45 and clubs in Premier Division and all over the state having to supply umpires is scandalous.Someone needs to take responsibility for the mess.
A change in mentality is long overdue.

they finally got me a contract at ctown ay rooster..ud be so proud..... im on a pie and chips each game....and if i get in the best they throw in a coke....pretty good deal ay....
but dont worry im not worth that much as u know.,,,ahahaha
