Just wanted to comment on the whole changing clubs thing - I've been a loyal club man for a while now and at times over the yrs i could have easily gone to another club for convienance sake or a couple of extra bucks. I think at the end of the day it's what you want out of footy or any team sport that makes the difference. If you are the type of bloke who plays for the mateship, then you will stay at the club you're at as long as your mates do, if you're the type of bloke who will take a hook line and sinker speach from a choach or president about how good you are then you will fall for that @@@@, if you want to win at all costs no matter what, then you might change clubs every few yrs depending on how good you think your current club may go, you may just have moved or your girlfriend, wife or partner may have a say in it too or it could be a mixture of things. We all play cause we enjoy it and i'm sure every time we step out over the white line we want to win. I know i maybe saying things that have already been said but that's my take on it. I'd like to hear from blokes that read this stuff and change clubs what they think?
i have played for 3 clubs in sydney st george back in 2001 and also 2005 as well as east coast and then made the dicision to leave a great club in east coast and help a club that were in a rough spot. My theories and opinion on what has happened since then i have mentioned many times but while some match payments were involved winning games was always the objective. Unfortunately off the field if one thing changes as you can see out there now quite alot changes. I could easilly go to east coast but they are a club that have been strong for few years now and would not help them as much as i could by going to another club.Comment

Maybe thats what they told you but the money there throwing around suggests otherwise. Flying him down to play from Darwin as well as match payments wont be cheap. As well as the coin they have promised to alot of young guys i hope it will be there at the end of the year when they have to coff up.The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...Comment

Whatever floats ya boat. Id just be scepticle considering last year they were telling everyone that they had stuff all to spend on players and now all of a sudden its a bottomless pit. You wouldnt want to play all year and get donuts at the end, maybe Fremantle have come up with some dough. The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...Comment

Mahatma you should realise by now that Rooster doesnt care what other people think about him. At the end of the day he will just do whats best for him. Its the same with what he says about our club and some of the guys like Key Forward and Young Kanga, then when he talks to you he says im only mucking around why are they getting upset for im just taking the piss. But what he doesnt realise is that what he portrays gets taken seriously by some of the people who read it from other clubs who then think its true. The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...Comment
