Footy is a wet weather sport.
All Sydney councils need to get a backbone and keep the bloody grounds open for gods sake

yet again another great decision by council and league to postpone game from friday til sunday.... where is the advantage of having a home ground if they transfer to a ground twice the size because it may rain... i say may coz i arrived thursady and from that day onwards not a drop fell at drummoyne yet the game was moved to monarch.... common sense should one day prvail in the sydney afl......

I would have thought playing at Monarch would have been an advantage to you Rooster - by seeing the result, you probably got closer to Wests because of it
        Oh crikey!

One out of 22... two weeks in a row played there and for balmain compared to drummoyne is a huge difference...... what i was saying was..who gets the advantage of home ground if games get transferred away from their own ground... why dont we all play at henson or show-grounds every week with one home game per month..... get bigger crowds and more interest in sydney footy.....?????????

Because then clubs wouldnt be able to raise money through Canteen and Gate takings to pay all the players, and we wouldnt want that would we........
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

rotate responsibilties and also having one home game a month...... one club has the gate and another has the canteen..... 50 people to watch a game would not pay costs out at monarch..... needs something to make sydney footy bigger for the future.
