    What No Is Pekay

Pekay, you boys are playing around the corner from my house this week and i was going to wander down to have a look if i get a chance. I noticed you kicked a goal on the weekend so my plan of just looking for the F/B for NOR WEST may have gone out the window, so what no are you big fella.

No 32 Pace, will endeavour to play, but hyper extended the elbow on the weekend so in a bit of curry there, should be out there though. After Thainy from UTS cut me to shreds a few weeks ago, the coach is reluctant to put me back down there, so i'll take the glory up front!!
Game starts at 2pm, if ya keen for a chat come and see one of the boys, would be good to put a face to the name.
    Cheers

Did you end up playing pekay?

Did you and pace catch up?

Would have been dissapointing for you guys to drop that game and now be a good chance for back to back spoons?

Yeah, i played Centre Half Back, enjoyed it, took a few marks, set a few up.
Didn't catch up with Pace which was a shame, although T-Rock and i met a few times out on the field!
Very disappointing to lose, considering the margin was only a kick or two at 3 Qtr time, but they ran out the game better than us, was a blueprint of the first game we played against em at Bensons in Rd 3. Losing our fullback and forward pocket before half time didn't help either, but no excuse, their young blokes (and they have plenty of them) had more legs when it counted.

Looking down the barrel of two spoons, which is tough considering the back to back flags in Div 2 the previous two years, but it's a massive jump in fitness and skill level, only consolation is our Reserves are playing some great footy, and only sitting a game and a half outside the four at present. Feeling around the club has never been better, and the use of East Coast players is creating a bridge between both clubs. We'll bounce back.
