    Congrats for 400 Games

On behalf of everyone at the Blues i would like to congradulate Brian SLIPPER Kershaw on playing his 400th Game this week. Brian is a stalwart of the club who has won 6 First Grade and 1 Ressies Flags and 3 First grade B+F at the club. Well done Brian and good luck for the weekend.

400 games is an amazing record - congratulations to him on that milestone. A career that stretches back through Campbelltown's golden run of flags in the 1980s, their stint in AFL Canberra, and still going.

Have Brian and Shannan ever played in the same team? There wouldn't be many cases of father and son playing together at any level; certainly not in any grade of a state league.

Ultra huge effort Brian Kershaw. Come and play for us, we like old blokes!!!

      I'll call Roosey tomorrow.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Not in Prem Div but Trevor Saunders played with all three sons Danny, Shannon and Ray with South West against Norwest some years ago.

But congratulations to Brian obviously a huge effort in anyones books with not a small amount of success along the way.

Congrats to Brian, i first played against him in 1989 and he has outlasted me in the playing stakes. 400 games is a huge achievement.

They were bloody scary to play against with Brian, Matheson, The Noacks and Betros running around.

They haven't played together as of yet as Brian has been playing reserves the last 10 years and shannon went straight from u/18s into First grade. I think Brian is trying to conn the coach into letting him sit on the bench so he can run on for a bit with him. By the way he has probably played a few more games than 400 but the league has lost records for 2 years so its 400 from the records we have. A huge effort as everyone has stated, and he still contributes, kicked 4 goals a few weeks back(and still explains to the umpires what decisions they get wrong just as good as the first game he played )

A champion of the game in sydney! I don't think many who would have played against Brian, from the footage I've seen of the good old days and although in slow motion these days, would forget playing against him. Still to this day is the first at training and one of the last to leave proves that he still loves the sport and the club. Well done Slipper!

              P.S. SOS is a gun!!
Looking dangerous in the forward 50

Funnily enough yesterday I found an old video of the C-Town v Nth Shore 1994 Grand Final, which C-Town won by 7 points.

Old Brian was pretty buffed back in those days. His guns (and probably his elbows) were twice the size of his sons. He certainly is a legend.

I see that Brian Kershaw returned to the seniors tonight and kicked a couple of goals - and possibly a few entries into the football record books.

400 games of senior footy is the most amazing achievement; as is to be of his vintage and still playing at such a competitive level.

                        Congratulations Brian!
