Getting back to the conversation about shifting clubs, it's the same conversation we all have at this time of year. Ultimately i think we all agree that at the end of the day it is the players choice no matter who he speaks with and what they say. Coaches, committee members and players may impact on how the player thinks, but I'd say the players mind is more often than not made up before they speak with a rival club.
Speaking as a one club player, it is highly frustrating when mates switch clubs for no particular reason other than chasing a dollar or two. Don't get me wrong good luck to them if they can get it, but what's an extra $1000 at the end of the year for playing footy? It's not a steady wage that's for sure.
My theory is to play for the mate you stand beside no matter if you're winning or losing. If you're 19 or 20 yrs old and don't have a scholarship or have been playing rep footy the chances of playing league footy are very slim. Get over yourself and don't believe the crap some blokes will feed you to buy a premiership. Just a thought..Looking dangerous in the forward 50Comment

Hear Hear, Key Forward. Finally, someone talking some sense on this board, rather than the normal one-sided, scornful dribble we are forced to put up with.Comment

I second that motion Insider. Half these circus freaks should shut their trap if they have nothing useful to add.
I can sit and home and listen to dribble from my family.

Why do most people on this forum hide behind meaningless epitaphs?
