Heard that Hawks have a done deal with the Falcons over 5 years!
Includes plenty of cash, a centre of AFL excellence where Hills kids can attend & a part time football employee who will attend local schools in the area.
What?s happening with the WCE & ECE partnership is it diminishing?
With junior clubs Hawkesbury, Quakers Hill and Hills Lions attempting to form a 16's team wearing the ECE strip, maybe a ew noses are out of joint at the Falcons.
Just an opinion
I wonder if they are trying to do a deal similar to the Collingwood/Uni arrangement. I don't think West Coast would be to happy about that. You would think they would have the area covered.

It seems like the logical way for any interstate club that supports the scholarship program ... if it is what it seems, at least they are going a few steps further than Collingwood have. It should also provide a finite and structured pathway from junior footy for the greater percentage of "talent" that is out that will never progress to the AFL. As opposed to the lip service that the interstate clubs have given junior developement in Sydney previously.
My thoughts are it's structured towards what? If they put in all this time and effort to the Baulkham Hills juniors, who get's the benifit down the track, East Coast? That's why I am wondering why are East Coast and West Coast not involved? Or why Hawthorn don't set it up with another Sydney AFL side's juniors or just a junior side in general, similar to what Freemantle have done with the North Ryde juniors. They will not appear to get any benifit out of it. That's only my thoughts
