Well well well its all happening in the Sydney Footy League:

1/ Which club that loves to heave ho is offering its own players $500 for every under 18 that they can bring from another club. The powerbrokers in head office are very aware of the problem but arent willing to do anything about it.GUTLESS.

I suppose last years dream of playing on Subiaco wasnt enough and they folded there 18's and this year looks like going down the same path. Pretty drastic measures are being taken if the mouth of the south is offering that sort of money to steal other clubs kids.

2/ All not well with one Hills club with some very good youngsters overlooked for an import to recieve a scholarship.The young fellas who are contstantly overlooked for over rated imports arent happy and could be coming to a club near you.

3/ Which RWO identity has just recieved the Michael Clarke award for self promotion?

4/ What club is flying under the radar recruitment wise and will be looking to Bomberise the SFL this year after a lean year last year.

Point 2 - This was aired a couple of weeks ago at a meeting @ HQ, where clubs out West brought up that clubs in the Hills were offering money for KIDS to transfer over!
l find it incredible how Hills clubs can camouflage paying 2 gun 16 year olds & not develop home grown kids. Shame on you penno & Nor West

In relation to point 2, I'm not sure if it is ECE (which would normally be my first quess) as the purse strings are apparently a little tight with the new ground.

Either way it'd be wrong to be throwing money around to kids to change clubs.

Its definately not Pennant Hills, so it has to be ECE. Dont worry about $$$ Nuggett, they will make plenty from the NAB Cup game there this weekend, plus they are well run off the field.

Heard there was discontent amongst a few of the 18's when the team folded last year re their $350 rego. "Play seniors or lose ya dough"

I can see the trouble they might be in re recruitment. Sent a couple of emails to them in the last month. One was regarding a potential player and the other was for a trial game. Havent heard a word back

I would say anything from $150 up cash is good for doing what ya love

Id be very suprised if anyone was on $600 a game. Most of the top players at each club would be on between $250-$350.
