East Coast V North Shore Trial 21/3

My cricket team and I ventured to Bruce Pursner today to watch a mate play for the Eagles as our match was cancelled.

Great ground to watch footy and a good crowd for a trial on hand to watch the match. The Eagles were dominating at quarter time before the Bombers showed some fight in the second quarter. Left at half time with the Eagles leading by about 30 points.

    What was the final score?
    Swannies for life!

i was also out at the ground on saturday afternoon and was very impressed with the way the new surface coped with the terrential downpour in the second half of the 2's game and the beginning of the 1's game. only part that suffered was the cricket square, however that was to be expected. the rest of the ground dried up very quickly.

Managed to catch a bit of the game. For East Coast, Colloupous and Physick played very well and will again lead the charge this season. For the Bombers I though Ron Watson was excellent across half back. Very close game but had to leave before the final siren. Culdnt believe it blew out so much

Seems that Colloupous had a big weekend. He also played pretty well for the Bulldogs against Wollongong on Saturday.

Jason is playing for the Dogs this year. Was lured across by the promise of a year's supply of hair product, 13 pairs of ninja shoes and an unlimited supply of skin tight t-shirts.
