    Campbelltown Big improvers

After watching a coulpe of Campbelltown preseason matches, they look like they have recruited very studiously after releasing some of their lightweight outside players. They look much more like the successful hard Campbelltown sides of years gone by.

Can anyone elaborate on their new recruits from Encounter Bay and Penrith.

    C'arn the Blues.

come thats harsh..... both their reserves and under 18s had wins round one.... and a 200 point win is near on impossible in the sport these days. im sure once they get full numbers and injured players are back they will be competetive.

A young developing side will always struggle against the top three or four sides especially when you have four of your best out. How did your blokes go yesterday?

which 4 were those? they will def struggle against top teams, by the measuring stick is how they perform against the lesser teams..

Two Suspended our Fullback and an onballer. Our Full Forward was unavailable and a ruckman injured. As i said it doesnt mean we would have won but does make a diff, they are not fringe players three are recruits from SA and the other is with the Rams.

teams have injuries and unavailable all the time.. but same result last week... 2 goals per game must be a concern especially with lack of depth... after all i did play for you boys and honestly hope can get things going again.

As i said on another thread, we have a few more that are coming very soon that will increase depth plus another couple which havent played yet because of injury so after this week we should have about 6 or 7 good ins to get things back on track. As long as we can beat the Saints, Norths,Gong etc hopefully we can pinch 5th spot and recruit well again next year to push back up towards the top

hmmm if only it was that easy pace
sounds like a fast track but a real answer wount be found in a season.
