Looks like they have moved up!
Daniel playing 1st in the WAFL is great! He was our captain and always a stand out.
I wonder if he would have played Vfl down here, if I made it he could...albiet reserves i played but still vfl

Good luck to all the teams - I'll read the Leader on Tuesday to see who won them all

The Crows are going pretty darn well this year - wtf they're called the Crows I'll never know *sigh*

Btw, not sure if anyone can help me here. I've been keeping tabs on the St George 1sts this year and noticed that Peter Dugmore has been playing v. well - he's only 19 years old and it just surprises me he didn't go any further in AFL. Does anyone know if he was offered an AFL contract.

Rumor has it that the swans were considering taking him as one of their rookies, but instead went for another local boy Paul Bevan from Western Suburbs.

Miekeljohn was also a rookie along with Heath James and Crawford.

You never know, if his form continues he may make it onto a list at the end of this year

It's a sister-club affiliation thing, similar to Baulkham Hills now being the East Coast Eagles or Campbelltown now being the Kangaroos.

Norris Lurker and Roscoe thanks for that info, much appreciated.

I was reading in the Leader today that StG managed to keep NS to 3 behinds in the second half. When I heard that I was pretty darn impressed by it

I just love that our local area ones are associated with the Crows (now if only there was a team in the AFL called the Dragons)

As good as the defence was Sunday they didnt keep Norths to only 3 behinds..might of been 3 goals.

2 of which were in the last 30 seconds of the game.

I'm going by memory here it might have been 3 behinds in the 3rd qtr not for the whole half - sorry my mistake.

Ramsgate u/10s were knocked out in the minor semi, as was their under 14's. Their under 12's were eliminated in last weeks preliminary and their under 16's didn't make the semis

All the old bloke's are still there like Schultzy, Mark Hobson and Kenny Hughes. Mark Seily has moved to the 'gong

St George Under 18's play their semi against the 'gong on sunday

A big upset! A very strong wind favouring the southern end caused the scoring pattern. Other games that day were nowhere near as close....

                          North Shore 9.4 14.8 19.12 27.19 (181)

None of the results had any affect on their ladders though!

Northshore lost a total of three games all season in all grades!

Thanks for the stats j s. A big ol' ouch to the reserves and U18 scores

Okay it was 3 behinds in that 3rd quarter that got them into the lead and basically they didn't look back even though they would have been starting to freak when it got within 2 goals.
