I was out at Picken Oval on Saturday. Wests look the goods to challenge the top sides this year, especially when Eurell's on his game up forward. Wasn't a great day for North Shore - they were always going to be up against it after having a player red-carded in the 2nd minute. My match report is now online.

Michael Vettas' pictorial from the St George v UNSW-ES match is online, and well worth a look.

And don't miss Fox Sports Plus at 6:30 on Friday night. The Digital Sports people had the close game, with Campbelltown edging out Sydney Uni in a thriller. (3 close games in a row - Jacks and BeeEmmAre, you're doing well with picking your TV games).

Wish I could take the credit, but not only did I not pick that one, I wasn't there. Typical to miss such a thriller!!!

Top of the table clash this week should be beauty under the Purser lights for the first time on Digital Sports.
Anyone in the west, get out there early for what should be a host of great games, with the Nor-West Jets meeting UTS and East Coast v Wests in Super Saturday from 8.30am. Jets v Bats in Div 3 (12.30) is two unbeaten teams going at it as well - should be a beauty.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

      YOU BETCHA!!!!!!
