Congratulations to St George for a good win. It wasn't easy conditions out there, and after a long losing streak they could have easily dropped their heads when North Shore kicked those 2 quick goals at the start of the last quarter to level the scores; they did a great job to put their hands up when the game was there to be won.

It was rotten luck for St George that the game had to be moved at short notice, after all the work they'd done to plan their Back to St George Day. But in the end, although it wasn't the celebration of the past they had planned, it was something promising for their future.
The highlight was definately a speckie from Nathan Smith not long before half-time. Not the easiest conditions to take a mark with a slippery ball...

The RWO front page now has a feature article and pictorial from the game.
