    Rep Squad

What is everyone?s opinion on the rep squad? Personally I think its one of the best sides picked in the last few years. AFL Canberra would want to have an impressive side if they?re to get up, which I?m sure they will but I just think we might have them this year.

Would you have included anyone else in the squad?

Interesting to see Syd Uni have 2 more players in the squad than Western Suburbs who are streets ahead of them on the ladder.

    Thoughts?

I suppose it depends on who made themselves available and also Wests obviously may have alot more depth of talent but maybe Unis as individuals are better players than most of the maggies
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

Well done to Dale Chivas for gaining selection thus far, alot of people said he wouldn't be up to Premier Division standard when he was signed with Town, but the selectors have seen something in him to give him a guernsey, he is a great footballer and has a good dose of mongrel in him too, always needed.
Will head down to Blacktown to watch this one, and have a beer with my old mate DOormat (Or Ash as he was once known) Here's hoping for his sake that they serve beer in cans not glasses.

Does the league have any rules in place for players selected and then pulling out claiming a "dodgy hammy" or making themselves not available when in fact they could not be bothered playing?

              Seems a good side overall.
I'm sure Coach Graham will do a good job against a quality Canberra outfit.

I'm not looking at anyone in particular but I've known blokes who think rep footy is a waste of time and make themselves n/a via an injury and then surprise surprise, they roll out for their clubs.
Surely the league is working on having the best possible team available to take on Canberra but if Richo, Seebeck, Withers and Blums (only as example only as I rate them) all pulled out under "injury" and then played the same weekend if a catch game is required, servious questions should be asked.
That said, they all might be keen as and my question is not relevant.

I know you know that Norris will delete all my posts as he done many times before, but you will be allowed to get away with these threats. Aren"t you an official of the club?
Great conduct more to the point great leadership. Just goes to show what a dick you really are. BTW pity you have 4 weeks THUG.

Is this the same person who coached ECE in 06 & 07 & has been linked to ECE in 2010? see they have 9 in the squad can only imagine?

                          I highly doubt that.

                            Congrats to Dale, well done.

Whoever it was Pekay that said that he wouldn't be up to Premier Division standard wouldn't know one end of a footy from the other.

Good to see four former Penrith players in the squad.

Ah Doormat, what a grand life you must lead. Wake up in the morning to check whether or not i have posted anything,to respond with your usual drivel. Just a few things- Norris would delete my post if it had any threats in there, pretty sure there isn't, maybe you're reading into it too much?
4 weeks is a long time i know, good to get over a few niggling injuries, getting older you see. As for thug, all i did was respond to getting a deliberate elbow to the head from a bloke who came after me,if you wouldn't do the same,no wonder you sleep on the top bunk with the lights on. Makes you more of a coward than firing off behind a username.
As for the incident,i'm not proud of what i did,i let a lot of people down, but if it happened so deliberately to me again,i'd do the same thing every time. I defend myself with what i have.
So summing up, your opinion means squat to me as i don't have clue one who you are,if you have a problem with me lets talk it over- you'll find i can hold a civil conversation when required.
And really,no one cares what gets said on here, the good folk at the league read it and take it all with a grain of salt,my club gets a laugh out of it, perhaps you should loosen up a bit. May help your performance, whatever it is you do so well.
