Doormat, I think only Premier Division players were considered for selection.

Getting back to the team, it's a bugger Vlatko's injured - he'd have been a sure selection.
But overall the team looks good. They've gone for a mix of form and reputation, which is understandable; but it looks like most of the top players have made themselves available.

I don't know a lot about the Canberra team, and most of the players on their team list don't mean anything to me. But I think the Sydney team will put up a good show and I think Sydney's a good chance to win. We only lost by a kick when we last played Canberra down at Manuka a couple of years ago, and this team looks stronger than that one.

Is it 22 play or do they increase it for this game as weve named 27 and Act have named 24

                For your information PTB.

Pekay played last week after serving 4 weeks suspension (which really was 6 weeks with the general bye in there somewhere)

I think each side consists of 24 players. I would assume Sydney will announce the final 24 tonight. Side appears to be pretty strong. I think they will not have to much trouble kicking a winning score with their forward line.

Yeah came back through the magoos as per selection policy Pace, got done by Sydney Uni though which was disappointing, but on a bigger ground we'll knock them over i reckon. Tell ya what though, i thought the 6 weeks off would be the body some good, but the shins are cactus, pushing 100kg again so got some work to do to get back into seniors, the boys are solid on all lines. I'll be happy to play either grade, but coaching is the priority.
As for making the rep team Doormat, i tried my best to push in there, greased the right wheels, but at the end of the day, they didn't have a spot for an ageing, over-aggressive, slow hack, which there are plenty of at your club.
I reckon i know where you're from now. The "we're propping up Sydney Uni & East Coast" smacks of the local boys. If you are from Riff, its a shame blokes like DLH have to put up with your crap. Or maybe i'm wrong. Either way, step up champ, it wont hurt you. But i will.
