Do you mean as a venue to watch footy or play at? For myself I love watching footy at Roger Sheeran, sitting on the hill you dont miss anything. Bruce Pursers facilities for players are great as is the overall set up there and Rosedale has easily the best playing surface of any venue in Sydney(excl Blacktown) but as it doesnt host Prem Div games Im sure there will be plenty here who will disagree.
does anyone want to win

Were you out last weekend?
I suppose the only negative with Roger Sheeran is a quite open space of a basin and sometime potentially "too far" from the action.
However, it is in great nick this year. We were kicked off from training only once I think due to weather after they installed a massive drainage system in there whereby after a downpour it is perfect still.Comment

I think you will find a lot of clubs have a lot of kids coming through. Ours included, and all clubs tend to have a few older players too.
A loss is a loss, but if you look at your ladder position you will find you had a lot more over the season.
There maybe no premierships yet and nothing is for granted in finals, however to be a chance to win one, you have to make the finals.... and correct me if I am wrong the Lions finished second last
Id concentrate on at least making your club competitive enough all season to get in the five.
Campbelltown I would say have some good Juniors there and look where they are compared to the Lions???

Finals
I'm tipping Uni NSW all the way. They clearly have the best list of all 5 sides in the finals and on their day will be very hard to beat. I think they will play Wests in the GF and the result will be 8 goals to the Dogs.
As for ECE the wheels have well and truly fallen off. Although I have heard that they rested 7-8 senior players against Wollongong. It just goes to show the lack of respect they had for the Lions.Comment
