    Saddington can't coach?

    Apparently he cant coach balmain because of his ties with the AFL? can someone fill me in?

    Don't know. There are other coaches past and present in the Sydney AFL who work for the AFL NSW-ACT, so I'm not sure why Saddington's case would be different. Someone may know something.

      I believe the same fate befell Lachie Buszard at UTS. Then I noticed that Chris Mintern is coaching one of their lower grades.

      From what I understand, they relaxed the rule and Development Officers can coach, but maybe there is a line along the way where it stops due to any possible conflict of interest.

        I would not have thought you could be the NSW Coaching Director and coach a side in the Sydney AFL. I think the politically correct term is conflict of interest.
