Great to see the Jets going well after a terrible start to the year.
Our boys have done a lot of good work, but there is still plenty more to do, and fourth is certainly not in the equation this week, even with a win over Moorebank, who are having a great season in both grades.
But I really wish this hadn't been posted, and I'm glad it's been turned into more proof of the success of divisionalisation, of which the proof is definitely in the pudding - I hope the Jets' seniors are looking forward to playing at a quality ground such as Drummoyne Oval this weekend, and hope they realise this match against Balmain will be nowhere near as comfortable as the last one was.
I'd like to turn the subject to Auburn, who are a new (returning) club and have done a great job to win their first 13 games, with Salem Kassem kicking his 100th goal on the weekend. Salem should dominate the grade, even in the twilight of his career, but you've still got to kick them, and 100 goals in 13 matches is a great achievement. Congratulations to him.

Pekay! Can't believe you said that. Jimmy Boags is the best thing to come out of Tasmania and I can't wait to get stuck into them again when I get home!

If I drink some, will it make me beam as claimed it does to Pekay in the opening post? Or did "beaming" mean he has been drinking the Kentucky poison.

Beaming- running in off two steps. That's the limit of my running.

Speaking of, how is it coming along Pekay? Any chance of stepping out this year?

Jesse Pinder played his 50th game for the Jets.
Next week the Jets take on Moorebank Sports in which case a win and loses to the teams above would mean that the Jets may be in fourth spot at the end of next weekend.
I was just looking at the victims. I hope Benny doesn't work your interchange. Best I can come up with 6 straight wins. 7 starts ago tells me UTS won by 50.

Really?? When you get to these dizzy heights, it's all a mish mash of 6s and 7s. 6 it is, and Benny, that's poor management! And we don't need an interchange steward, we never have a full bench after half time!

Offal, knee is screwed. Tried to run a few weeks ago at training, no dice, foot, ankle, calf, quad, back, hammy and the knee all tightened up. Won't play again I don't think.

Bet you would lace on the boots if you saw the name "D. Mat" in an opposing side.

I keep telling everyone, Doormat is me. I have split personalities. Only reason why I'm close to 100 games!

Well they cleaned swept all grades bar Premier Div and Premier Cup last year, could do it again bar Division Auburn.
Good chance for Sydney Uni to win the Prems.
Can see a Uni v Uni GF in Div 1 unless Manly make a move.
Power can be toppled in Div 2, just like last year, will take a big effort though.
UTS top 4 in Div 3.
Warriors only hope in Div 4.

I hope the monopoly gets broken, but finals are a funny game.
