    Finals venues announced

Sydney AFL website has announced the venues for the finals in all divisions for this season.
Obviously, Blacktown gets the gig whenever it's available and for all the grand finals, but it is interesting to see Gipps Road pick up the Div 2-4 and 18C preliminary finals.
Congratulations to the Goannas on a reward for the redevelopment of their ground. I haven't seen it, but it is obviously of the highest quality to draw Geelong pre-season and now a final.

"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

Thought Gipps would be in better nick than Purser and be used in Premier Division? Although Purser does have better facilities.

And you'd think Henson would get the ass, was in horrible condition for finals last year.

Are gate fees usual at the lower grade finals ? I don't remember ever having to pay previously to go watch lower grade finals matches

It wasn't possible to charge when they played finals at Kelso. But they did charge last year when finals were at Henson and Blacktown.

I haven't been there since August 29th last year, and for the unfortunate occurence that day, I don't wish to return anytime soon! But I'm sure it looks a treat.

Hey why don?t you & Oscar pop down to Drummoyne Oval & take a look at the real home of AFL football in Sydney & see why we are the real future of SAFL (unlike the jets & EC).
You can both have a beer & go over old times in 1 of the bars (we have 3) or sit in the grandstand seats & discuss that fateful day that ended your playing career.
                        Wouldn't have happened at Drummoyne.
Also is it true that you have put your hand up for the logistics manager for EC next year? I know you have lots of contacts on the RAAF base. Can the catering dept put you in contact with someone??
They will need the bomber to take all the support staff & players interstate next year. Ask the sous chef if he knows the contacts for the private jets as well? As this is the only way the ECE board will fly.
And yes, l know, they only have to afford 750K+/season but they will only need to increase the yearly spend by 200k to be entered into the comp.

These drugs aren't working. To all, this is my split personality. The reason I work so much overtime is, to support the two voices in my head.
And, as per the alliance, we have a C-17 Globemaster on standby for any emergencies, footy related.

I think I will do that. Should enjoy the future stars of Balmain running around in U18s.......oops
