2006 grand final at Henson was a shocker. I remember seeing a pic from the Black Diamond grand final that day in Newcastle which was even worse.

PK sent me an email earlier stating that EC are so confident tomorrow (they dont rate UNI) they have pre printed Back to back premiership T-Shirts & hats! They will give them away after the game tomorrow.

Bet all you peanuts will be lining up for the freebies

I didn't see any of the t-shirts at the game today but seems the decision was well founded. They looked a very well oiled and disciplined side today. Sydney Uni would be devastated after their successful season. 16 games in a row but couldn't put it together on the day that counted.

Overheard a very interesting conversation at the game today. I'm not one to go off early but I reckon the Eagles will be unbackable for a threepeat with the plans they have pug in place. Time will tell.

Have to say the criticism of BP seems pretty harsh after looking at the ground last night - it was in superb condition all over - loved seeing a ground like you see on TV with the two shades of green running in lines from wing to wing.

Tara, not critical of the ground, just the pitch area on that day.

I have no affiliation with ECE Doormat & don't believe that I have ever been in any position to make any decision about them ever but would be happy for you to let me know otherwise ... but do have good memories at Auburn, Parramatta, Wests & Wollongong over 18 years as player & administrator ... so I apologise if have shown favourable bias with those clubs in any of my postings. I am just a lover of footy & enjoy being impartial observer as far as Sydney footy is concerned these days.

is a very good player, be interesting to see what unfolds, will he flock to doormat, stay, demons or even somewhere else. no doubt as new season approaches all will find out

G'day mat long time no hear Pk the pest was telling me that Edwins, kershaw, Bottin noonan all talking to EC, Balmain & Uni. Dont worry EC will win them over as Garns will throw heaps of cash at them as Bowles is off to Canberra. Chivas has signed with penno. The riff as Pk calls them have plenty of cash & offered money to fringe penno & EC players. As Pk said the riff are the new EC in div 2.

Seems a few are heading to Auburn who will give the Div 3 a shake up next year. If they lose a game next year I will be suprised.
if there is a spot for them in Div 2 next season they should be given the chance and will more than hold their own.
