I was hoping the edit you did was the whole thing! Reckon they'll go better than alright.

Nominations are due 12th November followed by the planning meeting on the 24th of November so it would be after that I expect.
We definately go up and Penrith I belive have or will be applying - I think the only thing that could affect Penrith is if all the UTS teams are moving up a division which means that someone in D2 would have to want to voluntarily drop a division like ECE last year.

Nominations have to be in by November 12 so we'll know before the end of November hopefully.

With the League announcing that Premier Division and Div 1 will both be 11 team competitions, it seems to open up spots for multiple promotions from each Division without the need for any relegations. Penrith will be nominating for Div 2 and we'll see what happens from there, certainly Moorebank will go up automatically as Premiers, but given there should be two spots available I'd be disappointed if we were overlooked.

Doormat, you're always entertaining mate but off the money I'm afraid, no cash being thrown around by us.

Chivas hasn't signed with Penno either.

Mate Doormat missed a few names from the ususal rumors and he went a bit far west in search of a club alledgely throwing cash around to entice players in 2011 - could be an interesting off season.

I've heard the same thing Tara, I know of at least one of our U/18's that has been offered a few bob to make the trip down the M4.

Apparently said club have a few extra dollars in the kitty and have decided to spend some of it, good luck to them.

Good to see as well that some clubs haven't let the club pathway system get in the way of them attempting to entice the best U/16's from outside their recruiting zone despite the fact that they have more than enough on their own doorstep. Some things never change!

Again we hear of payments to U18s. Might be an investment for the future but in reality players go where they want to. Anybody who pays any kind of incentive to an U18 who is not absolutely red hot is going no where. Even then by the time uni study and work kick in they disappear anyway. Just do not get it.

As for the juniors chasing a dolar don't they realise that playing local footy builds the passion and with that comes the skills and exposure. After that when they start looking to their adult life they can make all those mercenary decisions.

I dont know why clubs(ECE & Sydney Uni aside) are trying to throw cash at blokes for season 2011 when they know they wont get close to those two in terms of matching them for cash and on field success. Why not wait build up the funds until those two clubs are in the Northern League in 2012 and spend the cash then to win a comp.

                          Ah, what the heck!

Doormat would have been straight on with the good oil anyway.

Can't wait for the scraps from his next 'conversation' with Pekay, the man who knows all by the sounds.

Would be good if div2 had 11 teams aswell and with a final five system does that mean div1 and prem have a bye and will there players be allowed to drop back?
