Quite a collection Lee has, now a Phelan to add to his Snow. One of few to do the Phelan/Snow double, Trev Burnett was another, not sure if there's anyone else that has. Dougy Scholz (R.I.P) did the Snow/Sanders though. Salem Kassem a Snow/Kealey double. Back to work now I guess.

It just goes to show in the lower division just how much umpires and club umpires know anything about our game - No taking away from those that won a medal but as a coach who has had time to review the votes week by week WTF! In games that offical umpires officiated, people who played a qtr of good footy before injury of just going missing getting three votes - guys from a losing team getting in the votes after a flogging then in my opinion our funniest was a guy that got three votes who played only 5 minutes just really @@@@s me. I cant offer a better solution unfortunatley other than I know that the votes other than Godja reflect nothing like our B&F - The worst thing about club umpires is the need there guys feel to be fair to both teams - get real be objective.

im not going to name names here but years ago at a count i was sitting next to the eventual winner of a Phelan and he was behind by a vote going into the final round. i asked him if he was a chance and he said "no, i went off just before 1/4 time" ...he got 3 votes.

Who was the winner only a couple of years back whos team got belted by 110 points and he got 3 votes?

congrats to those who won awards, but i believe a sydney AFL MVP voted by players would determine who they think is the best in each comp.

You don't think a whole team would vote for one of their own? Perhaps a rule that makes sense, you can't vote for your team mates. I think it's a good idea if handled right Busta.

Congrats to Bob Sterling, a very decent man and hardworking volunteer at the Dragons.

Haven't you got a pre-season to organise? Or as someone said previously, a lawn to mow?
