    So, if the SANFL actually took it seriously, that would mean the Eagles would've drawn Centrals perhaps?

    The top five SANFL clubs have knocked back a spot, which is a bit of a shame.

      The beauty of a League (SANFL) with a governance structure independent of the AFL is that when something is not right for the clubs, they have the ability to take a stand with less fear of recriminations or at least an ability to negotiate concessions from a united position of strength. Be good if Sydney AFL had a structure that meant they were given a role in strategy and decision making for footy in Sydney. Disappointing to see the VFL taken over completely by the AFL this year.
