What on earth is going on down there??

On May 28 they beat Manly and since then have been done by Southern Power, UNSW and Penno. The last two they thrashed in the first round so there's a 100+ point turnaround.

Surely something is going on down there for such a mid-season implosion?

Maybe they gave Michael O'Loughlin some guaranteed money before he decided not play and as a result, they can't afford to pay to turn the lights on at training....

I don't know what percentage of their senior team are students at the university, and how that number would compare to the other university clubs - but if Mac Uni have more students from out of town playing for them, then they could potentially be more affected by uni holidays than the others.

Interesting thoughts!!! Neither of which are remotely true. 14 genuine first graders were on the sideline before the weekend and now another 2 have joined them on the list. Plus our 2 young brothers were unavailable on the weekend (one with Swans Reserves and other with the NSW/ACT rams) Just a horrid run with injuries has seen Mac Uni not going so well. Hopefully with the return of at least half these players we may yet still make a deep run into September

The way there teams turn up to games they look like a bunch of misfits very unprofessional and they don't look like a team(s)

I heard that the coach is no longer residing in Sydney so maybe that is effecting them also.
