6 plus, or at least a quarter of your teams score I reckon. Pretty handy effort from Al Fritsch, back to back centuries in Div 2, followed by 60 odd in Div 1 this year, has vice like hands that bloke. Must've been well held on the weekend, although PowerSharks seemed to be missing a few.

So would there a bag of "bagfuls" in this match, Pekay?
I've been confused whether it's 5 or 6, since I've heard some announcers use both, but this past weekend watching the Geelong/C'wood game (I think) someone kicked their 5th and, indeed, the announcer said "... aaaand he's got a handfull" and I thought a-HA! I think I've figured it out for sure now.
Unless the announcer was being really, really crudely pornographic.
BMR, anything to add on this topic?? 6 for mine...
The thread is in response to a long-running commentary team argument.
Johno, obviously, believes it to be 6.
I, on the other hand, am firmly in the 5 club, which is a simple easy to remember round figure that, to me, marks a significant achievement.
Just as in cricket, where a five-wicket haul is a bag of wickets, in football, a five-goal haul is a bag of goals.
6, quite simply, I term to be 'half a dozen'.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
A bag of goals can be calculated by taking the average age of the visiting team multiplied by the IQ of the goal kicker divided by the number spanners in a Sidchrome tool kit.
(Sorry i've been listening to the 12th man a lot lately )
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
