Who are the players that ECE are going to recruit to be competetive in NEAFL and Premier div

Some will come from outside the competition. Some will come from other Sydney clubs.

Who will they target and how much do they have to throw around?

They were outclassed in the Foxtel Cup. Their 2011 Div 1 side was not as strong as previous years so i think they need 15 good recruits (able to play Prem div) and 5 good 18s to step up if they are going to win more than 4 games in any grade.

I would think they need to be well on the way to planning this by now to be ready for 2012

Is there any word on losses from their side more improtantly - i assume they would turn a few over and their list isnt that young so i assume blokes like Beardsley, Ryan, etc would retire?

you are right. I am sure the other club going to NEAFL will be combing over the city based clubs and picking over the bones of the Balmain players upset about the club culture there.

They don't appear to be trying to increase their club numbers by a whole team though. The Eagles are still planning to conduct the other 3 sides as well as add the NEAFL team. therefore i picture that they have a need for a larger number of players. And they would need to be good players to give the club depth.

Kenny is committed to the club and we thank him for that. Most of our list is in good shape and we have re-signed all our key players which is fantastic.

And besides, without the lure of a flag at East Coast he has no reason to leave now!!!

Your having a lend. Nobody gets paid so why would they re-sign? Hope they can continue to climb the ladder though.
