    Signings 2012

Interesting to see a few signings coming through now.

Saddington to St George... will any other former swans follow.... why would someone leave the cash base of dockerland??

Balmain's purse has opened again... rumours out there though about non payments... wonder how true that is. Few signings from West Aust noted on there website and a new captain.

SHE and SUS must be building a list too with teams in Neafl and Prem too needing to be filled.

Rumours of plenty of their senior players from last years losing grand final team are leaving. On top of that, all the coaches from last year.

As mercenaries do. I did hear a whisper that there was a bit of angst among some reserve graders who missed a GF spot at the expense of better credentialled PD players. They did have some promising 18's coming through though and hopefully, for their sake anyhow, they can keep them. Interesting coaching panel though. Been a bit of a merry-go-round for the Dockers in that department in recent years.

That'd be the wanker on GF day that stood behind us, in full Dockers regalia, constantly yelling abuse at Fosdike, all the while smashing tins with his mate. We had a laugh at him, he arked up at us, one of the boys stood up and took offence to his abuse and the bloke @@@@@@ blue lightning. For memory, he was yelling 'That's one touch he's got, in 4 qtrs Fos........good selection!' referring to Kypa, who appeared to be injured. Saw Fossy being comforted out on the field, in tears. You blokes were harsh.

Evening gents just a quick reply to balmains ressies chat the reserve grade squad that I picked was full of young talent ie brad plugg , Tom head, allister fergerson all who performed great considering their age and tough opposition.I have worked closely with Foz as a mentor and he is a great bloke both on and off the field and the behavior of those tools was a total f@&ken disgrace. All fans of Sydney Footy should ashamed by these nobodies attacking a AFL premiership player and I for one am greatful to of had the opportunity to play and train with these ex-swans.

No disrespect to a couple other young fellas Joey Britton and Luke Freemantle who played in the grand final side.

What about the former Ramsgate lad? ... Davo and Saddo amongst the young Saints talent would make for an interesting list ... no cash at Olds of course, but they could be on the verge of some success, which is always appealing ... hmmm?

talking of signings, do you reckon the 'Blacktown Magic' will struggle for numbers and results?? Just saw they are advertising for players and it's almost December? Thoughts

They will be the next PD team from Western Sydney -

Glad to see the people in charge of blacktown are the new people in charge of junior(apparently senior development as well) after the diabolical development stategies of their predecessors.

Just for the record my thoughts are just that and not my clubs thoughts and Im speaking as a punter not president(stepped aside).

Same path same joke and from what I can see same stupid decsions in place.

They destroyed liverpool juniors and now when south west tigers (formerly holsworthy) are consolidating their place they are splitting them as well. The south west region is now facing the same bull@@@@ as it has in the past despite our game being in a better position than ever before.

This shows that the game is more interested in auskick and nothing more than media coverage than ever before.

Congratulations for nothing and more importanly listening to nothining either.

                      Bang up job.

Will Blacktown significantly affect you tara? (genuine question). Hope not as you have done a great job rebuilding out therfe

I would have thought that Parramatta and Penrith would be most affected. Mac Uni are losing a key player but i wouldn't think too many would follow Connors out there.

It does seem a bit top down and manufactured. I don't know the full story but there would seem to be a niche for a team between Parramatta and Penrith as it is a huge area - I guess they are trying to dovetail the GWS frenzy that is about to erupt......

We have more than a dozen from the Blacktown/Quakers/Mounty County areas on our books, but none will leave, I think their angle is the multicultural one. Plenty of African kids in the area, but it does step on Quakers Hill juniors toes.

They could've had a Blacktown side 3-5 years ago but didn't want to allow Quakers Hill to have a standalone U/18s which would've progressed into a senior side...
